Philipe Laval
Software Engineer (Telecom'Paris), PhD in Natural Language Processing (Paris University). Created Sinequa, in 2001 and ran it until mid-2008. We raised 4M€ in 2006 and became the French leader for corporate semantic search solutions. Sinequa's semantic search engine is used by most French newspapers (LeMonde.fr, LeFigaro.fr, LesEchos.fr, Ouest-France, (biggest national circulation)) and e commerce websites (RueDuCommerce, OverBlog, cDiscount, PixMania) as well as two national French intelligence agencies. Mid-2008, I moved again with some of my teammates to start Kwaga.
